On Saturday, May 28 my son Gerardo was rushed to Kaiser hospital in Modesto after experiencing stomach pain that started near the belly button and moving to the right side, nausea, vomiting and was unfortunately miss diagnosed and sent home on Sunday, May 29 with medication for stomach pain, and acid control.

On Tuesday, May 31st I rushed him to Kaiser in Manteca with a fever of 103, excruciating pain, vomiting, extremely weak and unable to stand. He was admitted into the hospital with a perforated appendix and was done an emergency surgery on Wednesday, June 1.

The fluid was spread and caused a lot of damage and he continues on antibiotics and because he just had started his job he has no PTO available to use and no source of income.

Friends and family I have set up this fundraiser to help offset some of his medical expenses.

Even though the insurance is covering most of the billing, he still has to pay over $2000 in medical bills for being admitted to the hospital and his recovery time still undetermined as he continues in the hospital without a discharge date.

Please help with anything you can as every little bit helps. Don’t forget that this could happened to anyone and as his mother, it’s the most horrible experience a mother could go through, seeing her child in agonizing pain.
