Help Fund FREE BIPOC Support Spaces

Donation protected
Hello, lovely people!

My given name is Courtney (she/they) but you can call me Coco. I'm a cis, queer, first-generation child of immigrants, social worker, consultant, and training psychotherapist in the Vermont community.

For the last 10 years, I've been focused on making mental health and wellness services safer to access for People of the Global Majority (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color) here in Vermont. As a counselor I've seen firsthand the ways our systems and agencies re-traumatize our Black & Brown youth, young adults, and families. If you have personally had racially-influenced experiences with the mental health system at any level, I urge you to add your voice to this critical dialogue if you have the capacity. Updating best practices is literally life-saving.

Therapy is a valuable resource and I believe that everyone could benefit from it. It can also be expensive and daunting to try alone - especially in a state with just a handful of licensed therapists of color available.

That's where you come in. 100% of your donations will fund FREE group support spaces for BIPOC community members in VT. ***$6,000 fully covers the scholarship of 45 participants and 3 urgently needed programs.***

Thank you for helping to uplift BIPOC healing in Vermont!
