Sex worker support in Cambs and Peterborough

My name is Lily and I'm working hard to set up a grassroots charity to support sex workers in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. I’ve been working in the charity sector on and off for over a decade and there is a huge need to support the sex work community, from high end escorts to student cam girls right along to street-based workers. This is a hard-to-reach demographic who are often also queer, disabled, POC and female. Many funders overlook sex work projects and they have moral issues with supporting sex workers and establishing a service is hugely difficult. To establish and run a holistic service that is trans inclusive, trauma informed and robust, we would need about £100k for a first year.
