HELP RONI FIGHT AND BEAT CANCER

Veronica (Roni) Cadiz our beloved wife, mother, Mimi, sister, aunt, and friend loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons. Roni has been diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) that has metastasized to the brain. On January 31st, she had brain surgery to remove one of the tumors, but the other 3 are inoperable. She has had radiation to the lung and is on her second round of whole head radiation. We will not know the results for 12 more weeks, and how many more rounds she will get. The next step of her treatment is to have immunotherapy, which should start in about 3 weeks, and then chemotherapy. These treatments are very hard on the body (and hopefully the cancer too) They have caused her to have extreme fatigue, nausea, forgetfulness, confusion, no appetite, metallic taste in the mouth, skin rashes, mood swings, hair loss, and depression. She has been unable to return to work and the hospital bills are starting to roll in; they are already in the thousands of dollars. Her daughters: Jessica, Jackie, and Robbi have started this go fund me and if you would like to assist with Roni’s financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly to Roni’s medical costs and to ensure that she can afford to continue to receive the treatment that she needs.
