Hi, my name is Oliver. I'm a transgender man who is trying to raise money for top surgery. My gender journey has not been easy. I was subjected to conversion therapy at 16 but I am making steps in the right direction. Testosterone has helped relieve a lot of dysphoria, but my chest dysphoria holds me backI recently got the news that my insurance will not be covering any of my top surgery expenses so I have to pay out of pocket. Although I have a bit saved up it is not nearly enough. I am unable to work a regular job due to disabilities so I am relying on art commissions and gofundme to get me to my goal. I struggle with severe dysphoria around my chest and top surgery would help me feel at home in my body. I would finally look and feel like myself.
