The aim of Mimi’s Mission is to promote community cohesion. Established in 2020, we wanted to give something back to the amazing community that supported our family after the loss of Amelia. Mimi’s Mission is a youth and community centre and café, offering support to all ages. The community café is open Monday to Saturday and there are 5 youth sessions a week. Youth and community events take place about twice a month such as bike nights, car boot sales, summer fairs, gents' nights, ladies' nights, seasonal events for example Easter and Christmas. Money raised from the community events funds a big free music event every year, Mimifest, featuring local bands, children's entertainment, bouncy castle - something for everyone in the community!
