Books in Every Child's Hand

I am a middle school teacher of students with special needs.  These needs range from extremely mild to severely profound.   In our school we provide services to almost 200 special needs students.  Many of our students struggle to read.  Although we work directly with them at school and we see success, during the summer they don't have the same kind of access to books like they do during the school year.
The purpose of this gofundme is to raise enough money to purchase a book for everyone of these students. They would own this book and be able to read through the summer.  The educational benefit would be that the skills they learned throughout the school year could be practice through the summer.  We want to raise enough to give these students 3 books each, 1 per month, at their current lexile level that is of interest to them.  SO the cost break done is: 200 students x 3 books each x $10 per book=$6000.  Although this would be the ultimate goal, I'm aiming for $1000, to get us started.
 If our goal is not reached we will purchase as many as we can for each child.  If our goal is surpassed we will purchase the 3 for the summer, and then as many more as we can to start off the new school year, with the intent to provide for more students schoolwide.
