Donations for Maria Romero's Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Lulu. I am Frank Andrade’s Sister and Maria Romero’s Sister-in-Law.

A horrible and tragic incident happened at Frank and Maria’s home a few weeks ago, where an intruder broke into their home while my sister-in-law and nephew were in the house. The intruder entered their home after breaking a side sliding door with a tool. When he entered their home, he came face to face with Maria. To her disadvantage, he began hitting her with the same tool which he broke the glass door with, which he had picked up from outside their home. Although she fought him with all her strength, he still managed to cause her great physical damage, which has led her to be hospitalized, with horrible injuries which consist of a fractured skull, left eye socket injury, shattered left arm, broken wrist, broken pinky finger, fractured nose, fractured facial bones, cuts and bruises all over her body.

After leaving her unconscious on the floor in a puddle of blood to die, he began destroying everything in their home and kidnapped our nephew, who was later rescued by the Sheriffs and thereafter reunited with my brother.

We are asking for everyone’s financial support, as this tragic incident has left Maria with many physical injuries which include the inability of being able to see from her left eye, present and future Hospital and Medical bills, more needed surgeries, which include a reconstruction of her face, Counseling needs, home repairs and some monetary help while she is healing and is unable to work. My Sister-in-Law has been a teacher for 29 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District and has always given her all to help others in need. They now need our help.
