Hi, my name is Carissa and I am fundraising for my brother Jacob. Jacob was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at the age of 18 and has struggled with complications of the condition for years. Unfortunately Jacob developed a condition called Charcot foot resulting in severe bone deformities and this has led to recurring ulcers on one of his feet and, most recently, a dislocated and infected ankle on his other leg for which he will need to undergo a below the knee amputation. His medical bills are piling up and he needs a stairlift installed inside his home to get to his bedroom and a ramp built outside so that he’ll be able to get into and out of the house. Jake will be out of work for a prolonged and unknown period of time. Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated!
