Yuri Hardy's Homegoing
Donation protected
Yuri "Yu Yu" Hardy was born December 2, 1997 shortly after his 19th birthday, he was unexpectedly called home.
Yuri was taking from our family and everyone else whom loved and adored him. He was such a joyous young man, filled with laughter and love. Yu Yu was a great protector and a wonderful friend.
Yuri had many many talents. He was was born with a creative soul. He had eye for fashion. On his spare time if he was not dancing with his team (Divas and Dons) he was reconsturcting clothes. Just about all his friends and family loved his creations. Not only did he have a eye for fashion he was also blessed with the talent to "hook some hair up" as we like to call it. Yuri made sure all his friends and family stayed looking stylish. On top of having a creative eye, he was blessed with a dancing soul. From dancing in the living room to the stage, his dance moves were admired by all. I'm sure "The Divas and Dons " his dance team will miss him dearly.
On Decemeber 28 our Yu Yu was gunned down on the West Side of Chicago in front of members of his team after leaving a dance performance. I'm guessing he danced his way into heaven. As you can image this was a shock to us all, and my family was not prepared for this tragedy. And if you could find it in your hearts to make a small donation to help my aunt send her baby home, the family would gladly apprecaite your token of care.
Yuri attened Urban Prep High School and was a youth mentor at Kidz Connect on the West Side of Chicago. Yu Yu was a wonderfu son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. Yuri was the sweetest person you could have ever known.
