Bryant’s battle
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Chelsea Jones.
On Feb 23, 2022 my family
received news from our doctor that rocked our lives.
My husband was told that they were concerned he has cancer due to some spots they found on his liver. They then advised us he needed to see an oncologist right away and have some more testing completed.
On Wednesday March 3rd, we were given worse news. Not only does he have cancer but the type of cancer he has is very rare and very aggressive. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He was advised that this is not something that can be fixed with surgery. Our world was shattered. How were we going to explain this to our boys.
I just kept thinking “how, he was fine just a couple of months ago, all his lab work was normal, how did this happen.”
The same day he was admitted into the hospital because the pain had gotten so bad and they wanted to start him on Chemotherapy right away.
If you don’t know Bryant, he is truly a light, a jokester, a great friend, brother, father, and husband.
He loves his boys more than anything and will do anything for them!
He is 31 years old and works as a surgical technician with Aurora Health Care and is dedicated to helping patients and was enrolled in the Surgical Assistant program however will now be off work as he fights this battle and has had to withdrawal due to this disease.
Bryant is a very hard worker and has always made sure that his family is taken care off.
He is always there when you need him.
He has one of the best personalities.
We can only hope our world has more people like Bryant in it. He is the funniest person I know and always try’s to keep me laughing. It’s hard to image this world without such an amazing person and my other half.
Which is why we are going to fight like hell to keep him here. I am doing research and looking into different cancer centers across the country however since he is not able to work this will take a financial toll on our family as his job provided most for our household and our 2 young boys, Bryson (5) and Adrien (4). We have created this GoFundMe to help with the medical and living expenses that will be used to support our family during his battle.
With the economy now a days, we understand money maybe tight , so even if you can send a prayer or positive vibes it’s much appreciated.
However, If you can find it in your hearts to donate, big or small, anything will help as we navigate through these tough days and try to figure out how Bryant can beat this disease. I will continue to give updates on how he is doing! I appreciate everyone one of you more than you can imagine. Thank you!
