Tony's medical bills and family travel bills

Hi,

This post is here to start a fundraiser to help with Tony's soon to be medical bills due to pneumonia he contracted while on vacation with the love of his life, his wife Kirsten . Tony is now in the ICU and on a ventilator. The family could use as much support as possible.

Tony is a beloved father, son, husband, and friend. One of the best anyone could ask for. Not only is he funny and talented, he is one of those people that will do anything for anyone without hesitation.

A Message From Kir:

Here I sit, in a hospital room in San Francisco, watching a machine keep my husband alive. I’m faced with the news from a doctor that Tony is very sick. One of the sickest in the ICU and they are very concerned. He is heavily sedated. His right lung is infected, and not expanding properly. His lung was most likely damaged by a chest tube placed improperly at the previous hospital. They are keeping him stable and trying to give him time for his body to heal. As I always try to be transparent, I will say I’m scared. Actually, terrified is more the feeling. I’m spending time holding his hand, playing him Billy Joel and yacht rock music, and praying. I’m reminding myself of one of our favorite episodes of Ted Lasso; that fairy tales do not begin nor do they end in the dark forest and things will work out exactly as they are meant to be. As always, I’m so grateful for our tribe of support back home. I feel your love. (On a side note, a nurse this morning asked if I was Tony’s mom! I mean I know I don’t look my best right now, but really?! I’m sure Tony would find that hilarious.)
