Dale’s Journey

Hi, I am Kathy Dale’s sister. As you know Dale has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She has been given 2 to 5 years to live. She has 40 percent lung capacity and her last cancer tumor marker showed her numbers jumped in one month from 180 to 308. It should be below 30. Dale has insurance but they aren’t approving everything. It looks like the treatment She is on right now is not working. The oncologist has ordered genetic testing on the biopsies in storage. The lab called her and depending on insurance it will cost her somewhere between $1,000 and $5,000. My Sissy is having to make the choice of accruing more debt that will land on her family or looking out for possible plans that could make her life a little better.
