Help Save Theo

Theo is our 11 month old Maine coon who at a young age started developing symptoms of stomatitis

Stomatitis is a condition that is auto-immune and causes his gums and entire mouth to become extremely inflamed and can lead to excruciating pain and bleeding of the mouth which can result in him to completely stop eating hugely impacting his quality of life

This is generally not something common especially in a 11 month old kitten and to this extent

We were only given one option to treat this and sadly it is going to be an extensive and costly procedure that will require him to be sent to a dental specialist to be put under to have all of his teeth fully removed, and potentially two different surgeries as well as post op care

We are absolutely heart broken and love him so much, he is just a baby full of life and spunk and we couldn’t imagine not doing this for him…

but as you can imagine this surgery will be a huge cost, but is needed in order for him to continue on and have a good quality of life

We never in a million years thought this was something we would have to do, but we also could not imagine not saving his life and doing everything we possibly could to get him the care he needs

We feel awful asking people for help and even debated on doing this… but at the end of the day we would immensely regret not trying for him. Any donation would be appreciated and no donation is too small to help us give him the surgery and life he deserves
