Our Beautiful daughter, Evelyn Rose, touched so many lives in her short time with us.  Born with an incredibly rare genetic condition that left her with profoud epilepsy and global muscle weakness Evelyn has shown us all, the true meaning of strength.  She surpassed every expectation.  She fought throughout.  She faced her troubles with grace, fortitude and determination.  She was a truly outstanding little girl, her smile would light up a room, and the twinkle in her eyes will light up our hearts for a lifetime.  Everyone she met loved her, and she in turn, loved them.   She loved to sing and shout along to her favourite Disney cartoons (Rapunzel, Frog Princess, Frozen, Mulan).  She would kick her legs around to dance.  She loved to suck her fingers, rabbits ear, taggy blanket, your coat..basically whatever was near!  She loved to be outside and sit in the sun, smell flowers, feel the dapple of leafy shade.

We learnt so much from her and though she is no longer with us, we will always carry her in our hearts, in our soul, in our memories.

So many people and organisations did so much to help us through some very difficult times, this site is dedicated to raising money for the registered charity Evelyn Rose Trust  (CN#1170667) to form a Legacy that is ongoing and a fitting tribute to our Warrior Princess.

What are our aims? The charity's Objects are specifically restricted to the following:

(1) The relief of children with life-limiting, life-changing or terminal illness admitted to intensive care/high dependency/neurological units at University Hospital, Southampton and their families by the provision of support, facilities and equipment.

(2) The advancement of education of children with disabilities/debilitating illness living in Southampton by the provision of education based equipment to schools/organisations to aid in the education and communication ability of such children.

The benefit will be geographically defined as within the local government area of Southampton.

Thank you in advance for supporting us, and keeping Evelyns' memory alive.
