Rachael Newport Funeral Expenses

Rachael Marie Newport (12/21/1965-02/14/2024) was found deceased in her apartment during a wellness check on Valentines Day in Buffalo, NY at the age of 58. She had been sick recently but we have no known cause of death until we get the death certificate. We will update her page as we find out more.

Rachael was born and raised in Oakdale, California. She attended Oakdale schools, Modesto Junior college, and California Universities at Stanislaus and San Jose. Rach, as known by family and friends was a remarkable woman, resilient, compassionate, and brilliant. She formed a brownie/girl scout troop in Oakdale and went as far as a girl could go. She was in a gifted program in her youth and scored the highest IQ ever recored at that time in a female child in California. She was a believer in the power of a positive mindset, overcoming disabilities, as well as a string of devastating losses in her life (her son Ben when he was a teenager, her Mom, Dad, and her only sibling, a long-lost sister she had more recently connected with).

Rachael was a talented writer, history buff, and online marketer and loved clapping back at trolls online. She had a soft spot for animals and children, and had spent several years studying teaching children with learning disabilities.

There are so many things to be said about Rachael and her life accomplishments in spite of every obstacle thrown her way. Her family is looking for answers to the circumstances of her death. Any donations will go directly towards helping us cremate her, acquiring a death certificate, hopefully providing some answers, and sending her remains back home with her family in California. We are so very thankful for any help we can get, and appreciate you reading and sharing.
