Rachael's Medical Bills

My name is Annick Maddox, and like many, Rachael Petrich is one of my best friends in the world. This girl, who is normally so full of LIFE, is now FIGHTING for her life. And it seems like this has gone on forever. Rachael has been in and out of the hospital for 2 years for reasons that only baffle doctors, and now she is in the ICU being intubated and on life support. Her sister found her at home this week having a hard time breathing and seizing. She called 911 and quite possibly saved Rachael's life. Yet still, nobody knows what's wrong with her. The doctors are still, after 2 years, grasping for answers. All these trips to the hospitals have racked up well over $100,000 in medical bills. And with this recent trip, I can only imagine it's nearly doubled. This fund is to help Rachael and her family focus on healing. We are all praying day and night for a full recovery, and as of today (5/27/2016) Rachael is showing signs of slight movement when she hears her sister's voice. God is good, and He is hearing us. We don't know what lies before Rachael on her road to recovery, but please... seriously please, consider donating to help her and her family continue getting the medical help she needs to save her life, find out exactly what is going on with our girl, and move forward. Although I don't see her as often as when we were in our early twenties, Rachael is still my best friend. The most memorable and literally *best* years of my life besides those with my husband are with THIS amazing girl. She is so full of life and love it's crazy. I used to get so upset because she would take SO many pictures when we would hang out and I hated the way I looked. She would always tell me, and all her friends that we all looked gorgeous and that we were crazy for thinking we looked bad! She taught me to be okay with how I look, even if my hair is messed up, or my nose looks too long, or I look greasy or whatever. Because that is not what she is focusing on with her camera. She is focusing on making MEMORIES that will last a lifetime. And loving her family and friends despite the flaws. I am so thankful for her it's insane.
