Rachael (Roach) Wythe Recovery Fund!
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is to raise money to help Rachael and Justin get by while Rachael is recovering from Brain Surgery. On October 15th Rachael had a seizure and became unresponsive. Her husband, Justin, called the ambulance and she was taken to the hospital in Crown Point, IN. After many tests they found that she had an Encephalocele between her eyes. They then transferred her to the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital where a team of neurosurgeons and ENT’S ran their own series of tests and a MRI. On October 22nd they performed surgery to correct the problem. As of November 4th Rachael is now home and is recovering well. However it is undetermined when she can go back to work. She has no vacation/sick time and doesn't qualify for FMLA or Short Term Disability. Things are going to get tough for them and Justin is doing all that he can, but any help we can provide would be greatly appreciated. Even though she is out of work, in order to keep her health insurance she has to continue to pay her employer $420 every 2 weeks.
Please donate if you can. Every little bit helps! The last thing they need to worry about is money while Rachael gets her health up. We all love Rachael and Justin very much and want them to focus on her getting better and getting her life back to normal.
From Rachael in one of her updates to everyone -
"I will say, these past couple of weeks have been an absolute blur and I can’t believe any of this happened. But I still will always stand that everything happens for a reason. So just always remember to keep your head up and never give up because things will always get better ❤️"
