Rachel Collier Memorial Fund

Hi guys! I had to start a new GoFundMe for Rachel Broadbent Collier due to technical issues with the first one.

Rachel is the eldest of our 9 kids. She's a loving wife & mother who has learned to be a "Jesus trusting Cancer Fighting Ninja" that we are so proud of! She and her husband Stephen recently celebrated a 20th wedding anniversary and have 5 beautiful kids.

Backstory:

Rachel first noticed a prominent lump in her chest in summer of 2018. On Wednesday October 3, 2018 she was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. She did chemo, got into remission, and started back to work by the next summer. Then in October of 2019 the cancer was back. She battled it again and got back into remission in May of 2020. She was getting her life back and enjoying Fall 2022 when she started having chest discomfort. Scans confirmed a new different lymphoma growing in her chest! Her team of doctors from Dallas and Amarillo are working together to guide her chemotherapy, and it's hard stuff!! Rachel has worked as much as possible through all of this and her employer has been so patient with missed days, but now she is doing really hard ICE chemo in prep for a bone marrow transplant. Good news: They have found a perfect match for her! She will not be able to work for the next 2-3 months while going through this amazing process. Please pray for success of the chemo and transplant.
