Rachel Jepson’s Guillain-Barré medical needs
Don protégé
On November 25th, Rachel was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). GBS is a rare disease in which your immune system attacks your nerves and results in paralysis. Rachel had a mild case of GBS as a 15 year old and was hospitalized for 7 days back in 2005. Unfortunately, this time her body didn’t respond as well to treatment and she required a ventilator for 9 days as her entire body was affected. Rachel was hospitalized for a month and her short term rehab is ending shortly. Rachel is still dealing with lingering paralysis and weakness requiring her parents to move in and care for her. Rachel is a loving wife, caring mom of 3 little ones, and a friend to everyone she meets. Please consider donating to help with medical bills and any extra equipment she may need for her road to recovery.
