Dear Esteemed Donors,

I am Rachel Saidi, the founder of the Rachel Saidi Foundation, which was established earlier this year in Kigoma, Tanzania. Growing up, I always dreamed of giving back to my community. Since moving to Australia in 2011, I’ve worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality, serving not just my local community but also others beyond my own borders.

2024 has been a transformative year for me. I embarked on a journey across several African countries, making a significant impact on the lives of many with the resources I had at my disposal. Yet, as I have learned, the need is far greater than what I can do alone. While it is an immense responsibility to support each and every child in need, I believe that together, with your support, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of orphans, widows, and other vulnerable people.

As we approach the holiday season, I am reaching out to compassionate individuals like you, who have the power to change lives. The Rachel Saidi Foundation, as of now, operates without external sponsorship or donors, relying solely on my personal efforts. The need is overwhelming, and with Christmas fast approaching, we find ourselves facing the challenge of meeting the urgent needs of those who depend on us.

This holiday season, we invite you to join us in spreading hope, joy, and compassion. By supporting our foundation, you can make a real impact on those who need it most. Together, we can provide essential resources to orphaned children, widows, and other vulnerable members of society, including:

Food, clothing, and shelter for orphaned children who have nowhere to turn.

Medical care and support for widows struggling to survive in harsh conditions.

Education and skills training for vulnerable youth, giving them the tools they need to build a brighter future.

While our efforts in Tanzania are underway, our vision extends far beyond this single country. We aim to reach even more communities in countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Burundi, and others across Africa. We want to bring hope and life-changing support to those who need it most.
