Rachel Michelle Skinner passed away, she was 27 yrs old.
Rachel was the epitome of strength and courage. She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. Rachel was an old soul by nature and valued the simplest of things, like sending hand written letters to those she knew, something long forgotten today.
After Rachel’s passing, her parents, big sister Sarah, and boyfriend of 4 yrs, Jacob Hershberger, had the privilege of reading Rachel’s final wishes she had shared in her journal.
She found peace in knowing that she would leave this world on her terms and made her wishes abundantly clear.
Rachel was adamant that her wig, she affectionately named Dani, and her prosthetic leg, were donated to those battling cancer.
While her family mourn the tremendous and painful loss of their sweet Rachel, they find themselves faced with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses and medical bills accrued over the last 5 years.
Rachel has asked to be cremated, her ashes placed in a biodegradable urn, and buried in her home town of Temecula, followed by a celebration of life. In order for her loving family to be able to fulfill their beautiful daughters last wishes, I am asking for help to eliminate the tremendous financial burden they now face.
Rob and Cheri Skinner have been devoted to enriching the lives of the children and families of their community. It is the Skinner family who now find themselves desperately in need of help.
On behalf of Team Skinner, they would like to express their immense gratitude, and feel truly blessed by the outpouring show of support, generosity, and love, during this incredibly difficult time.
In loving memory of
