Rachel's campaign for TEESDALE COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Since the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, TCR Hub has led a food campaign across the Teesdale area.
We have delivered weekly care packages to over 180 households, worked with over 60 volunteers and managed to save over 100 tonnes of food from going to waste.
Our community have been very generous, donating both money and food to our project. This has enabled us to provide really good quality packages that include a combination of fresh items and store cupboard essentials plus the odd treat.
We deliver packages to single people, couples and families who are in need financially or due to mental or physical health issues.
We are always seeking donations for the project and are currently campaigning for donations for our special Christmas hampers.
If you can spare any money at all it will help us to purchase a Christmas Dinner, Fresh Breakfast Items, Fruit and Vegetables as well as some Seasonal Treats.
