Helping Rachel's children Fiona and Miles

This page is made by her friends and is in tribute to Rachel Bernstein ; a good friend who recently passed away. As a community our hearts are broken. She was a daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a mother. Rachel was a passionate advocate for members of the adoption community. She shared her adoption journey and reunion freely and as such was an inspiration to us all. She was there to help others with their searches. 
 
Rachel was a firecracker. She was witty. She was funny. Her laugh was contagious.  She fought hard for all that she believed in and cared about. She loved hard. She loved to paint, dance, and even gave skate-boarding a whirl. She shared her life with us through her social media. Even if you never met Rachel in person, you knew exactly who she was by reading and watching her videos. She was a New York girl and knew what a good bagel should taste like. She will never be forgotten.
 
Above all Rachel was a Mother to two beautiful children. Fiona and Miles were the lights of her life. We have watched these children from the times they were growing in Rachel to when they took their first breath, crawling, walking, and even Fiona's first day of school. We were all lucky to be a part of her life. Now Rachel will not be there to guide them and watch them grow up. She won't be there to see Fiona's first school dance, or Miles bring home his first girlfriend. Many of us who were close to her cannot believe she is now gone forever.
  
This go fund me is for her children Fiona and Miles. This money will be put in a trust for them. We want her children to have what they need. Your contribution will ensure that Fiona and Miles will never do without.
