Rachel's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected

Rachel was recently diagnosed for the third time with a rare form of cancer called Angio Sarcoma. Although doctors have told her it is fatal, Rachel refuses to go down without a fight. She has fought, and won, two battles with the same cancer, but this time it has attacked her liver.

Taking the easy way out is simply not in Rachel's nature. In 1995, Rachel and her husband Paul organized the Fort Worth Boxing Club, located in the Riverside Community Center. They created it with the knowledge that keeping kids active can keep them out of trouble.  Not only does  Rachel open her heart to the kids, but she frequently opens her home to feed and clothe the kids at the Boxing Club, helping kids overcome the obstacles life throws at them.

While others might be discouraged or tempted to give up if given Rachel's diagnosis, she sees this as her time to trust God and to fight harder. "This is my World Title Fight," she tells people, "and I believe God's word when he says  'I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.' and  'I shall not die, but live, declares the works of the Lord.'"

Join #RachelsFightClub. Make a donation of any amount and help Rachel with medical expenses and expenses of everyday life, and help her win this fight.
