Racina’s Recovery

I’m writing this in effort to help my mom, Racina, on her long road for recovery.

Today, my family had the scariest wake up call.

Racina was almost murdered at work, it was unprovoked, inside and in the middle of the day.

She was brutally stabbed 42+ times by a knife measuring 6-7 inches.

She was rushed to the hospital before my brother and I even knew what was happening. She then endured 6 hours of surgery and is back in surgery this morning (Thu).

Due to the investigation, I don’t want to give out too much detail but the person who did this was arrested within a few hours. (Thank you Dallas PD!)

We’ve been advised by her doctors that it is going to be a day to day basis for her recovery and what comes next. She has many more surgeries ahead of her and a very long healing journey.

We ask first for your healing thoughts and prayers to be sent her way. Please do not feel obligated to donate and right now I’m not sure what exactly this money will be used for. But please know it will go to her medical bills, legal fees to obtain a lawyer; so this man is never let out of custody, in home care and supplies, I can’t even fathom what all she might need but I know she’ll need the support of her friends and family most.
