Racing For Children's Hospital

Hello everyone! My name is Ben. I am a life scout from boy scout troop 60. I am looking to raise funds for my Eagle project by positively impacting and giving back to the hospital where I recovered from my accident. When I was young, I was hit by a car, and I had an enormous amount of trauma, but many people supported me because I survived it. Children’s hospital helped me with my recovery, including my reading, writing, my memory, and more. I am so thankful, and I want to say thanks for helping former patients and their families feel happier and let them think about something else instead of their mental work or surgery, etc. I also want to celebrate the staff there too. They work so hard to make people feel better. They save lives.

 

I’m planning a Pine Car Derby race for my Eagle Project. It will benefit Children’s Hospital and it’s care community. This requires funds to carry out the event (rental fees, feeding volunteers, prizes, materials, etc.). I need to wrap up donations by June 3rd, 2022 because the event is June 4th at Basecamp, Ft. Snelling in St. Paul, MN. I would also like to donate a sizable contribution to the hospital.
