Support My Journey in Bobsledding - Olympic Hopeful Zozzy
Donation protected
After suffering a season-ending injury, I'm back on track, sprinting and pushing with renewed determination. With just two months until the bobsled season kicks off, I'm preparing for the toughest year of this Olympic cycle. I eligible to try to make my first Olympic Games, but I can't do it alone.
Bobsledding is one of the most expensive sports in the Olympics, and I bear almost all the financial responsibility. As a bobsled pilot, I'm not only focused on training but also on financing, shipping, storing, and maintaining my sled. On top of that, I need to cover housing, travel, and food expenses for both myself and my brakeman. Despite making only $700 a month as a national team bobsledder, the costs of competing can reach up to $70,000 a season.
Last season, I proved I have what it takes to compete on the World Cup stage. Now, I need to continue showing the world my capabilities, but without proper funding, I can't get my sled to the races. My recent injury has affected my world ranking, forcing me to fight for the last spot on the national team or a spot on the North American Cup, both of which are not fully funded.
With your support, I can keep chasing this dream and proudly represent the stars and stripes. If you'd like to help, please consider donating, sharing, and cheering on sliding sports as we try to make history in women's sports over the next two years.
