Hello everyone! My name is Josh, and I am raising money to buy a racing wheelchair. I was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident in June of 2022. Before the accident, I was an avid runner, running 10 marathons, many half marathons, and other races. Since my accident, I have been involved in trying new sports, but wheelchair racing has been my favorite by far. The wheelchair I use now is on loan from The Franklin Park Adventure Center in Columbus, Ohio.

I hope to qualify for the Boston Marathon eventually, but I need my own wheelchair. The loaner that I am using has worked, but to become more competitive, I will need a wheelchair that is made specifically for me. Since the training for the Boston Marathon is intense, I don't want to put all of that wear on a wheelchair that is not mine and can be used for future parathletes.
