RACLETTE NYC'S EMPLOYEE FUND

We are grateful to have been able to provide friends from the neighborhood and around the world the soothing experience of a hot raclette meal, with the tableside cheese scrape that so many of you have commemorated in your photos and videos.

It has warmed our hearts to see so many memories made—countless birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and first dates--and to be a small part of many visitors’ first discovery of New York City.

Making all of this possible have been our employees: the cooks, dishwashers, hosts and servers who provide the food, atmosphere and service so many have enjoyed. 

Now that we have closed our dining room for the foreseeable future to help curtail the spread of COVID-19, many of them have lost the means to support themselves and their families.

 It is for them, and for the hope of their return--and Raclette’s--that we have launched this appeal. The Raclette NYC employee support campaign seeks donations to help our staff survive this crisis and sustain them going forward by allowing Raclette to re-open after the shutdown ends.  

 Thank you. May the thoughts of brighter days ahead—and more tableside scrapes of comforting melted cheese to come--bring us all a measure of hope and joy in the present.
