Rafael Terán sufrió un ACV: Ayúdalo a recuperarse

Les hablamos con el corazón lleno de esperanza, pero también con una necesidad urgente: nuestro papá, Rafael Terán Armas, está enfrentando una dura situación de salud, la más difícil de toda su vida. El 4 de marzo de 2024 sufrió un accidente cerebrovascular hemorrágico y estuvo hospitalizado durante diez días, dos de los cuales fueron en terapia intensiva.

Rafael Terán, también conocido como el abuelo Cielo, el morocho, o el tío Negro, es un ser increíblemente optimista, el más optimista de la familia. Ama la vida como nadie y para él no ha habido obstáculo que impida transmitirnos a sus hijos, a su esposa y a sus nietos que no hay límites si tenemos la certeza absoluta de que todo es para bien. Su sabiduría y disposición para apoyar a los demás lo hacen una persona muy querida en su comunidad, siempre ha estado allí para ayudar a sus vecinos y su generosidad incondicional ha sido determinante para la vida de muchas personas.

Buscamos apoyo para cubrir los gastos médicos que ya sobrepasaron nuestras posibilidades financieras. Como muchos de ustedes saben, en Venezuela es cada vez más difícil contar con un seguro médico, mucho más si se trata de personas mayores. El acceso a los servicios de salud es complicado y la situación hospitalaria es grave. Hemos agotado todas nuestras vías económicas, ahorros y estamos comprometidos no solo con la hospitalización, sino con los gastos médicos posteriores, los cuales serán muy fuertes en estas primeras semanas.

Rafael merece, como tantos venezolanos de bien, transitar este duro momento con dignidad y el bienestar mínimo esencial. • Gastos médicos pendientes, incluyendo deudas hospitalarias.

• Consultas médicas por venir, que serán frecuentes hasta que Rafael se estabilice.

• Exámenes médicos actuales y futuros.

• Medicamentos y tratamientos varios (actuales y futuros).

• Terapias de recuperación y fisioterapia.

• Alquiler de cama clínica y otros equipos médicos necesarios para su estabilidad y recuperación.

We speak to you with a heart full of hope, but also with an urgent need:

our father, Rafael Terán Armas, is facing a difficult health situation, the most difficult of his entire life.

On March 4, 2024, he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and has been in hospital ever since, including two days in intensive care. Rafael Teran, also known as Grandpa Cielo, El Morocho or Uncle Negro, is an incredibly optimistic person, the most optimistic in the family. He loves life like no other, and for him there has been no obstacle that prevented him from teaching his children, his wife and his grandchildren that there are no limits when you have the absolute certainty that everything is for the best. His wisdom and willingness to support others made him a beloved person in his community. He has always been there to help his neighbors, and his work and unconditional generosity have been a crucial factor in many people's lives.

We are looking for support to help cover medical expenses that have already exceeded our financial means. As many of you know, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain health insurance in Venezuela, especially for the elderly. Access to health services is complicated and the situation in hospitals is catastrophic. We have exhausted all our financial possibilities and savings and are committing ourselves not only for the hospitalization but also for the subsequent medical expenses, which will be very high in these first weeks.

Rafael, like so many good Venezuelans, deserves to get through this difficult time with dignity and with the minimum of necessary care.
