Hello everyone, earlier this week my cousin Vanessa informed the family of some devastating news.
My Aunt Rafaela has been diagnosed with Lukemia. She is currently in the hospital and based on her condition it is likely she will have to stay in the hospital for some time to undergo treatment.
Rafaela is a mother of four and has been married for 27 years. She has devoted her life to her kids and her husband.
I know the road to recovery is going to be hard and all we can do as a family is stay strong for her and show her as much support as possible.
My family is torn and on edge with this news. Not being able to physically be there for her during these times makes our hearts ache even more.
Unfortunately Rafaela does not have medical insurance so On behalf of the Portillo- Tejeda family we ask you all to help us with any donation to cover her medical expenses. We understand that a lot has happened this year due to the pandemic and we grately appreciate anything you can give.
We ask that you keep her and our family in your prayers.

Hola a todos, a principios de esta semana mi prima Vanessa informó a la familia de una noticia devastadora.A mi tía Rafaela le han diagnosticado Lukemia. Actualmente se encuentra en el hospital y, según su estado, es probable que deba permanecer en el hospital durante algún tiempo para recibir tratamiento.Rafaela es madre de cuatro hijos y lleva 27 años casada. Ha dedicado su vida a sus hijos y a su esposo.Sé que el camino hacia la recuperación será difícil y todo lo que podemos hacer como familia es mantenernos fuertes por ella y mostrarle todo el apoyo posible.Mi familia está destrozada y nerviosa con esta noticia. No poder estar físicamente allí para ella durante estos momentos hace que nuestro corazón duela aún más.Lamentablemente Rafaela no tiene seguro médico por lo que de parte de la familia Portillo-Tejeda les pedimos a todos que nos ayuden con cualquier donación para cubrir sus gastos médicos.
