Memorial Fund for Rafiq Adam Mohammed
Tax deductible
The loss of our dear father and husband Rafiq Adam Mohammed has devastated us. God has granted us relief in innumerable ways, including through a compassionate, loving community. Thank you all for your heartfelt thoughts & prayers, continuous support and endless love.
Our dad was caring, generous, and thoughtful. He was a dedicated member of his community, always striving to be there for others. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them.”
With your kind and generous contributions, we will be able to honor our dad and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. We are raising money to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to achieve their potential through the H.E.A.R.T. Program (Housing, Entrepreneurship And Readiness Training). H.E.A.R.T. promotes structured independence for individuals with developmental disabilities by providing innovative education, training, housing and employment programs.
In 2019, 187 individuals with I/DD were served by H.E.A.R.T. and over 50,000 hours of training were performed by trainees. You can learn more about H.E.A.R.T. here: heartprogram.org/about-us/.
Thanks in advance for your generosity towards a cause that means so much to us.
Love,
Zarina, Sabina, Sana and Altaf Mohammed
