Raheen NS Play Area

Raheen National School, we are a small but super little school in Co. Wexford.

 

We are very proud of our school and our pupils but space for our kids to play outdoors has been an issue for several years. 

The numbers attending the school continue to grow and as the building has increased in size the outside play area for the kids has decreased.  Safe play space is limited. 

Break times have had to be staggered and decreased to allow for numbers of kids on yard to be within safe limits at break times.
Kids can’t run around at lunch as their is just not sufficient space to allow it and for the safety of the children. 

Our school PA have set up this funding page to reach out to all of the current and past pupils and families to ask for your assistance, no matter how small every little helps. 

We aim to fund the development of an Astro turf play area so the kids have more space to play safely outside, run around with their friends and make the school memories that will stick with them for the years to come.
