Rahima’s Education in Tanzania

Hi, my name is Jill, and after I graduated from university I decided to travel to Tanzania Africa and volunteer as a medical aid. While in Tanzania I met a beautiful little girl named Rahima. She is 5 years old and lives in an orphanage in Arusha with 51 other children ages ranging from 2-16 yrs. From ages 0-5, children are given free pre-school, or primary education. However, when they turn 6, as other kids their age start secondary school, Rahima will be left behind. She will be unable to afford the fees and tuition required for secondary and further education in Tanzania. Rahima is the brightest 5-year-old I've ever met. She wants to be a doctor "like you" she said to me pointing at my scrubs. She loves to dance and sing, she loves to take care of the younger children at the orphanage. A year of school costs $980. Help me send this beautiful little girl to school, so she can have a shot at anything and everything she dreams of.
