Rahman’s Course Fees for Oxford School of Drama
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Natalie and I am Rahman's mum.
After completing a professional acting diploma with The Bristol School of Acting last year, Rahman recently auditioned for a place at The Oxford School of Drama.
We were not overly optimistic due to the highly competitive nature of the prestigious drama school. This school is in the top ten in the country and the top twenty best drama schools in the world. Over a thousand apply each year and only eighteen are accepted on the course.
The audition panel was blown away by his self-tape and in-person audition and has offered him a place in the foundation course which starts this September. Rahman continues to define the odds and strives for greatness despite the struggles and compromises he has to make daily due to his autism.
Life is just a little harder for him, that being said he wouldn't manage being at a drama school further afield. Due to being without his family and support network. That is why The Oxford School of Drama is a dream for us as a family as it ticks every box for him to strive and succeed in the industry. Unfortunately, the course fees are not government-assisted and he must raise the funds to be able to undertake the course.
The deadline is next month! We applied to the school for one of their bursaries but unfortunately were unsuccessful and so we are reaching out to ask for your kindness and generosity to enable Rahman to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Thank you in advance
Rahman and Family xx
