Paying Tribute for Rahmiek Brown

Our beloved Rahmiek was shot and killed on 09/05/2022 in Charlotte, NC. He was only 28 when his life was cut short. My son, Rahmiek, was a loving father, son, grandson, and brother. He was loved by everyone he knew. He leaves to mourn his death, his mother, daughter, siblings, grandmother and a host of family and friends.

As we affectionately call him, Rah was a fun guy to be around. He had some rough times in his life, but he was on the right track when he was gunned down. Before he was taken from us, he had texted his grandmother excitedly about how he was so happy about his life. Things were looking up for him, and he wanted us to know. He also told his grandmother and me how much he loved us. I could have never imagined that that would be the last time I would hear from my son.

We are so devasted. Our hearts have been broken into a million pieces. My son Rahmiek didn't die because he was sick or from natural causes, but someone decided that his life was worth nothing, so they killed him. No mother should have to bury their child regardless of how they died!
