Rahnyi Kelley's Tanzania Study Abroad Experience
Donación protegida
Greetings, I am Rahnyi Kelley, a junior Criminal Justice and Political science major at Tennessee State University. In December 2023, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to Tanzania in May 2024 to study abroad through HAEC.
HAEC (HBCU Africa Education Coalition) allows students to study abroad and exchange, using a Pan-African model designed to promote Pan-Africanism, Global Competency, and Leadership skills among students of African Ancestry. I and other student leaders from HBCUs and African Universities will focus on the principles of Identity and the Primacy of Africa, Humanism, and African Unity and Socialism, allowing me to take action to make my local, national, and international ecosystems more Equitable and Inclusive.
For more information about the program copy and paste this link https://hbcuafricaeducationcoalition.org/ for details on the mission to engage 100k students of the African Diaspora in Study Aboard, student exchanges, and collaborative research in Africa.
This great experience has financial obligations, and I am unable to accept it without your help. I request your assistance to allow me to fully engage in this opportunity. The total expense of the study abroad program is $3,500. The total payment has to be received in February 2024.
Any assistance you can provide is meaningful and appreciated. I am grateful for your investment in my future.
My Sincere Thanks and Appreciation
