We employ over 13 staff and 900 members that we want to ensure our ability to reopen to provide a service and a place to work, this we believe will allow for a feeling of normality when lockdown is eventually lifted.
We have applied for 5 coronavirus relief grants and we have heard back from 3 of them and unfortunately we have been unsuccessful :( The other two grants we are still waiting on are small grants but anything is better than nothing. Any help or advice would be really appreciated.
We currently rent a large building and although we don’t pay rates as we are a non profit, our building is very large and the rent costs and other bills are high. In order for us to survive this epidemic as a gymnastic club we are in need of support through this time.
We believe that gymnastics is an important part to some children's lives, they learn life long skills such as problem solving, perseverance, discipline, team work and many more skills. On top of life long skills they are able to keep fit, motivated and get to feel part of a community whilst meeting new people and potentially making friends for life.
