Raising a Hallelujah: Fundraiser For Jaxon Fuller
Donation protected
On January 5th, 2020, 1 1/2-year-old, Jaxon Fuller, had a stroke. After testing, doctors found the cause of the stroke- a mass on little Jaxon’s heart. This was a scary time, and still is, for the Fuller Family. They joined hands with their hundreds of friends, family, and church family and through God's protection, Jaxon had the mass removed from his heart during an open-heart surgery on January 10th.
After his surgery the doctors identified what they originally thought was a mass on his heart, as a very rare fungus. Although the fungus was removed, this powerful disease has already caused serious damage to Jaxon’s body (the stroke). Pieces of the fungus have spread to other parts of his body including his brain, eye, stomach, and a few limbs. Currently, Jaxon is on a powerful medication that the doctors believe will help fight the disease. He is out of ICU and on the general floor of the children's hospital now as he is still being closely monitored. Jaxon has started PT/OT to help regain movement and function back on his right side (caused from the stroke). On January 16th, Jaxon will undergo an angiogram of his brain (they want to be sure there is nothing in his brain) as well as an injection in his right eye for potential damage there.
We are raising funds to help pay for medical expenses that can be accrued with this type of disease.
If you can donate, that would be amazing! If you cannot, please “Raise a Hallelujah” and keep Jaxon and his family in your prayers. Jaxon’s parents, Jamie and Jason, are both in ministry at The Naz in Brighton. If you would like to give in another way, please reach out to the staff there. Thank you so much!
