Raise Excess Funds for Canberra Temple Book Stall

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

As you may be aware that the most auspicious festival of Janamastami is soon approaching. I am currently taking care of some services at the temple in Canberra, where setup of a temple stall/shop is one of the services I have volunteered for. Currently, I am in the phase of getting some items procured from overseas and I am exceeding a little bit on the budget that Temple has allocated me.

However, I am keen to get those items by contributing personally and with the help of willing kind donors for this cause. So kindly see if you will be interested in donating $50/$75/$100 or any amount you may want to offer.

I am raising $950 approx for items and $600 for shipping (air freight is expensive), totalling $1550. Also, just to keep it transparent on the total funds collected and on the contributors, I've decided to raise it through the GoFundMe page, which also takes about 3% per transaction as a fee. So raising $1,600 in total.

I am happy to share details of the invoices if you would like to see them so that you are also aware that all the funds raised will be used for the said cause only. Please reach out to me personally or approach me when you see me.

Please note this is not associated with the temple but a personal endeavour, which will be to offer it to the temple. Your contribution decision is completely voluntary and there is no compulsion. You may want to contribute by funds or even by sharing this page with anyone interested.

I will close this fundraiser as soon as the target is reached. But anything excess raised will be donated to the temple also.
