Raise funds for a debfibrillator

Hello my name is Jamie maddocks, I run White cliffs amateur boxing club in dover Kent, we are a certified amateur boxing club affiliated with England boxing. I am launching a go fund me page to help raise funds to buy a defibrillator to have on site, we are a non profit organisation that relys solely on help from sponsorships & funding to help keep the club thriving.

When someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest, defibrillation (the administration of an electric shock) together with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the only way to re-establish the heart’s natural rhythm. For every minute that defibrillation is delayed, the victim’s chance of survival decreases by 10%.

I believe it is vital for the welfare of not just white cliffs amateur boxing clubs members but all our visitors and guests who attend our club to feel their welfare is being considered at all times.

Having a defibrillator on site will not only benefit the members/people that visit our club but also benefit the surrounding areas of our premises which is built up with houses local businesses & shops.
