Raise funds for Connor after his accident.
Donation protected
I'm raising funds for Connor, who's in the hospital after being hit by a car yesterday while riding his bike to work.
Connor is an amazing person who's touched so many lives in a positive way. Hopefully the funds raised here can go directly to him during his recovery soon, to help cover medical bills and other expenses, if not I'll ensure they reach his family.
Thank you and best wishes
Below is some information provided by Connor's mother, who's been at his side in the hospital as much as allowed:
Connor was born in Bakersfield, California and relocated to the Beaverton area in 2007 with his parents.
He attended Mt. View Middle School and Beaverton High School. Connor was the Drum Major for the Beaverton Marching Band his senior year of high school, the routine that year had Connor showing off his non-existent gymnastic skills by doing cart wheels on the field. Connor attended Portland Community College earning not one, but two AS degrees. He still has a passion for music, always finding new and unique instruments to learn and master.
He currently works in the tech industry for MatchPoint Solutions, contracting through World Wide Technologies to Nvidia in Hillsboro. He started as a logistics and stock technician, his intelligence, IT knowledge, and strong work ethic has seen him move to being a data center technician now. He is very interested in cybersecurity and is constantly working to improve his "hacker" skills, ethically of course! Connor's commute to work is by bicycle, and that was where he was headed on Tuesday when he was involved in the accident.
Things to know about Connor:
Connor is a wonderful big brother to Cole and Claire. He is their rock!
He is an avid gamer! Playing hours on end of The Finals, Naraka Bladepoint, and Lethal Company with friends from all over the country.
Favorite music artist currently is Ghost Data.
He loves anime! With One Piece being his favorite.
Connor has amazing hair! And is very proud of his curls.
Connor is a fighter! Having battled leukemia at a young age, he knows what it takes to heal.
Note from Connor's Mom:
I am humbled by all the support that is being given to our family at this time. I can't imagine having to go through this alone and I am grateful that Connor's community is rallying around him. I can't wait for him to wake up so I can tell him about all the love he is receiving. I thank everyone for all the ways they are helping. We have a long recovery ahead of us but Connor is strong! He will be back on his bike before we know it! Wishing you all a happy holiday season, Jeannie
