Raise Funds for Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Dear Friends,

I am a Senior this year at Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA).  Each year some of the students and faculty at SAA participate in mission trips to build schools and churches in economically depressed areas throughout Central and South America.  This year, I’m excited to have the opportunity to serve with a group of 40 other students for a 10 day mission trip in the country of Dominican Republic where we will be building a church for the Dominican people right outside of the city of Santo Domingo.  We will building the block walls for a church during the day, and in the evenings holding an Evangelistic Series for adults, and a Vacation Bible School for the children.  

Because the local population is having some struggles with money, we are funding this entire effort ourselves which includes purchasing all of the building supplies that will be used.  Each participant is required to raise a total of $1,600.00, and in order to confirm my participation, I need to raise the first $800.00 by January 1.    

I am truly excited about this opportunity to help others, but I desperately need your financial help in order to pay for my transportation and building supplies.  Every dollar that you contribute will go directly towards the cost of this mission project.
