Raising funds for legal expenses and kid's college

Hi, my name is Jeff and have been a family friend for over 20 years. I'm writing on behalf of the Nguyen family in hopes of any assistance with legal fees and children's college funds.

Sandy Nguyen, a devoted mother of two, a loving wife, and dedicated daughter, someone who has always put her family first and dedicated her life to their well-being. She was also a great mentor to others and helped them develop and advanced their careers. Sandy worked hard to provide for her family and was actively involved in her kids' extracurricular activities. Recently, Sandy is going through a legal matter and was sentenced to a punishment that she and her family feel is overly harsh and unwarranted. The Nguyens are devastated by this news, and they are struggling to come up with the funds needed to hire an attorney. Unfortunately, for legal reasons, details surrounding the circumstances cannot be shared publicly. Friends and family organized this fundraising/GoFundMe to assist with the Nguyens’ needs moving forward. Legal representation is expensive and burdensome.

It is our hope that we can alleviate some of the financial constraints and pressures their poor family must be facing. All proceeds will be used towards Sandy’s legal representation and other associated legal expenses. With everyone’s help, Sandy may be able to secure the legal representation necessary to appeal her sentence and hopefully achieve a fair outcome. If the legal expenses can be met with our fundraising (this would be amazing), the remaining proceeds will be placed in a trust for her children to make sure that they will have the necessary financial support to succeed academically.

If you know Sandy, you would understand how kind, caring, and devoted to her family and community; Sandy does not deserve to be separated from her loved ones.
