Donation protected
Heavy rains in Lombok, Indonesia have flooded homes and left families, already struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, facing even more challenges.
Lombok Aid has provided emergency food to vulnerable families during the pandemic and is currently seeking funds to support flood victims. Many people here rely on tourism to survive and the pandemic has had a devastating impact.
Lombok Aid also promotes self-sufficiency throughs interest-free microloans in an effort to provide longer term economic solutions to those most in need.
Launched in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lombok Aid is run by expat and local volunteers. Many people here rely on tourism to survive and the pandemic has had a devastating impact.
Nearly all donations go directly to those in need – just $100 a month is used for administrative costs.
