Raise funds for Mocha's legal fees

Where do these tickets stem from?

As you may remember, 2 years ago Montreal was under strict covid rules such as mask mandates and late-night curfews. I was being targeted by the police for doing my job as a journalist for Rebel News at the time while covering the protests and the curfew as no other journalists were doing so.

In the process, I have incurred 5 covid tickets $1550 each, and I don’t know what to do with them.

I feel like my younger self from 2021 has put me in a vulnerable position.

These tickets were being taken care of by lawyers funded by my former employer, but since my termination, It has become my responsibility to take care of them.

I want to be able to hire a lawyer so that they can focus on these matters

while I focus on bringing you the coverage that big media and government-funded media won’t.

I may have to leave Canada entirely, and pursue my international journalism exclusively outside the Country I've come to call home, for a sustainable profession elsewhere.
