Help us to raise funds for those affected by winter fuel cut

Hi, my names Emma and I run the community shop in kings lynn. With my team of wonderful volunteers.

we sell donated items to raise funds in our west Norfolk community.

This could be anything from making up a baby box for a new mum in need of help.

To helping with food parcels , clothing for job interviews, winter care packs , activity packs , do free art and crafts in school holidays as well as a summer picnic and our Santas grotto all free of charge. And during the six week holidays we provide coaches to take families on days out but each time we do this it’s costs us £1000 per trip.

and with ever increasing cost with our overheads

we just can’t afford to do it this year. So we thought about this fundraising idea.

we would be so grateful to everybody who helps us reach our target. Not only will it help us have a day out but it’s keep our food bank stocked and our baby bank stocked. With six weeks holidays fast approaching many families will struggle to feed their children or their selfs and we want to help any way we can. And now the government has cut the winter fuel payment for many pensioners. So because of this we want to help by providing winter care packs , here’s blankets and warm food but to do this we desperately need your help

The cost of living is having a huge impact on our overheads and swallows up most of the profits from selling items . which then affects our ability to help whoever whenever regardless of the back round . So I’m asking for your help to see us through the next 6 mths can you my community help the community shop I would be so grateful to you all . Thank you for your continued support Emma
