Fundraiser for safe passage from Gaza into Egypt.

I am Mona Chaaban, and I am reaching out to you for support in assisting my dear friend, Mohammed Al Sayed, in leaving Gaza amidst the current war crisis. Mohammed is an advocacy lawyer who ran his own practice until the conflict began. He was pursuing a Master's Degree in International Human Rights Law, was actively involved in representing women in domestic violence cases and about to buy his own house. Sadly, Mohammed had previously lost his first law office to bombardment in Gaza. Despite the challenges, his determination to make a positive impact remains unwavering.
Mohammed's compassion extends beyond his legal work. He has dedicated himself to caring for 80 homeless cats in his community for the past five years, garnering support from friends and followers on Twitter, known as "X," to fund his efforts. His kindness knows no bounds, as he extends his care to both humans and animals alike.
Tragically, Mohammed and his family have been displaced five times in the span of three months due to the ongoing conflict. His family, comprising his parents, five siblings, two of whom are married with children, has faced unimaginable hardships. Despite the adversity, Mohammed's family has grown with the birth of a newborn baby girl during their displacement. Additionally, Mohammed's nephew suffers from a neurological condition exacerbated by the inability to access necessary medication due to the conflict and now has paralysis.
To compound matters, Mohammed has recently contracted hepatitis A from contaminated drinking water and requires urgent medical attention. Your support can provide Mohammed and his family with the means to leave Gaza, access medical care, and rebuild their lives in safer surroundings. Your generosity can make a profound difference in alleviating their suffering and restoring hope for a better future. Thank you for considering our plea for assistance.
Why I'm fundraising:
The funds raised will facilitate Mohammed and his family's safe departure from Gaza. They currently reside in makeshift tents in Rafah, having lost everything to bombardment. The primary need is to obtain entry visas into Egypt, which costs $7000 US dollars per person through the Rafah border crossing. The total cost for visas for all ten family members, including Mohammed, amounts to $70,000 (10 x $7000). Your contribution will directly support their journey to safety and provide them with a chance to rebuild their lives outside the conflict zone.
The impact of your support:
Your donation will have a profound impact on Mohammed and his family's well-being. By helping them secure entry visas into Egypt, you will enable them to escape the dangers of the war and begin anew in a safer environment. Your generosity will provide them with the opportunity to seek medical attention for Mohammed's hepatitis A and his nephew's neurological condition, as well as to rebuild their lives after the devastation they have endured. Please consider donating to support Mohammed and his family as they seek refuge and hope for a brighter future.
