Raise funds for the 3rd of July fireworks.

Hi,

My name is Adam Miller, Treasurer for the Phantom Lakes Management District. For 2023 we raised $1,605.00 in private gofundme donations and an additional $2,300.00 in offline donations. For the last three years, the PLMD has sponsored the fireworks show over the lake for the Fourth of July (typically held on the 3rd of July). These funds come from the taxpayers that live within the Phantom Lakes Management District, and we budget an amount of $6,500.00 for the show. FOr the 2023 show, we had a budget of about 10,500, due mostly to private donations above and beyond the PLMD amount donated.

For the upcoming 2024 show, the PLMD is hoping to secure a budget of $6,500.00. We are asking for donations to help improve the budget and, thus, the duration and quality of the show. In the years past, the show was 15-20 minutes and we would like to make it bigger and better!

All funds will be used directly for fireworks. If funds go past the amount needed, or if the show is canceled due rain/unforeseen circumstances, the surplus will be deferred to the following year. If you are a local business that would like to donate, we can include any business logo's on our webpage, Facebook group and our banner for the Father's Day parade. There has been a lot of positive feedback from the first three years, and we are hoping to build this bigger and better to help celebrate our great community and this great country.
